This week we will begin reading The Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass.  Please organize your binder (as discussed in class) as we prepare for this unit.  If you did not complete the vocabulary for chapter one (today's WWW), please do so this evening.

Students entering grade eight are required to:

- Read at least three books – (choose books which you have not read before)

-  Complete a Literature Log for each book read (see link below)

- Turn in the Literature Logs to Ms. DeSantis on the first day of school

-  Be prepared to discuss one of your book selections with your classmates
